Board of Directors

Carol Davis, President – Carol joined the Coos Bay community in 2010 and immediately became involved in the Coos Art Museum as a volunteer. Carol has experience in marketing, business, writing and editing, and a love of art. Carol was most recently elected to the board in 2019.
Scott Carpenter, Vice President – Scott is a retired corporate attorney who recently moved to Coos Bay. Scott spent the majority of his career working with large clients in the biotech and healthcare industries. Before his retirement, he was the SVP and chief legal officer of a large hospital system. Scott was appointed to serve as a member in mid – 2021.


Kathleen Zappelli, Secretary – Kathleen Zappelli is the current Board Secretary. She is a retired Art and English teacher focusing on art education for the youth of our county.
Joe Paulet, Board Member – Joe joined the Art museum board in 2020. He is passionate about the arts and dedicated to seeing our museum thrive. Joe believes the museum is an asset to our community.
