Programs for Schools

• Field Trips:
  Hands-on staff guided tours of the museum for different grade levels.
• We also offer a follow-up art class activity that may be added onto the field trip, please contact the Art Education Manager for questions and scheduling.

Pricing and information for field trips:

Staff guided tour, field trip only: $5 per student.

We require that there is one adult chaperone/teacher/aid per 5 kids, chaperones receive free admission. We cannot have groups larger than 25 at one time. If you have multiple classes or larger groups, please consider this before scheduling.

Staff guided tour with follow-up art activity: $7 per student

These activities will be held at our CAM Studio location, at 187 Central Avenue in downtown Coos Bay, just around the block from the Coos Art Museum.

Options are open for these art activities. We can have a loose structure, or more of an instructional class. We’d love to hear what works best for you!

• In-Classroom Visits
  Interested in having us come to you? Tell us your ideas and needs, and we will help work with you to construct an art activity in your classroom or school.

Pricing for in-classroom visits are on a case-by-case basis depending on supplies, number of students, distance, etc.

We offer scholarships and financial assistance to schools whenever needed.
