About the Permanent Collection
At the heart of Coos Art Museum is the Adele Smith Art Collection. Comprising approximately 641 works, CAM’s Permanent Collection is focused on contemporary fine art prints and original works in all media by Pacific Northwest artists. The fine art print collection contains many works by major American artists including Alexander Calder, Warrington Colescott, Red Grooms, Robert Rauschenberg, and Larry Rivers.

CAM’s Adopt an Artwork program has helped improve the condition of over 143 pieces in our Permanent Collection. By underwriting the cost of reframing or restoring a work, you can play a vital role in preserving these treasures for future generations. Donors are recognized whenever their adopted works are exhibited.
